I honestly don't remember the first time I ate tof I honestly don't remember the first time I ate tofu. It definitely wasn't something we had growing up, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't love at first bite.

But, somewhere along the way tofu earned a place on my plate, and as I get older I'm enjoying it more and more.

A great plant based protein, naturally low in saturated fats, perfect for women in those hormonal years. I love the way it soaks up flavours and is easy to cook. Simple, versatile and surprisingly satisfying.

Funny how foods we once baulked at end up becoming staples.
That slow week between Christmas and New Year 🫨 That slow week between Christmas and New Year 🫨 Yep, we were feeling ready for something lighter, different, because there's only so much leftover ham dishes, right?

A fridge scan found enough vegetables, goats cheese, a lonely mushroom, eggs and a half bottle of cream nearing expiry.

This simple frittata with garlicky roasted pumpkin, zucchini and cauliflower with goats cheese was exactly what we were craving πŸ˜‹

Sometimes the best routines are the ones that quietly carry you through every season.

Ever noticed how completely different your day fee Ever noticed how completely different your day feels when you start with a breakfast that actually fuels you?

Travelling can throw routines out the window but a simple plate of real food keeps energy steady for the day ahead.

We're in Hobart, one of our favourite cities for lots of walking and it reminded me that healthy eating doesn't have to stop when you're away from home.

It's just one small consistent choice that sets the tone for the whole day.

Golden, chewy and uniquely Australian, they're a reminder that the sweetest moments are made in the kitchen and shared over crumbs and family moments.
