There must be hundreds of recipes for garlic prawn There must be hundreds of recipes for garlic prawns but sometimes cooking by feel (and taste) works a treat. This dish was created not by following a recipe but by using up a few ingredients hanging around in the fridge or growing in pots on the balcony.  Not the prawns, of course - they were fresh 😆

Garlic 🧄
Cream🍶
Tomato paste 🍎
Half an onion🧅
Garlic chives🌱
Dilll🌿
A splash of dry vermouth 🍾

When I was a kid (a long, long time ago) Sunday ni When I was a kid (a long, long time ago) Sunday night dinners were mostly comfort dishes, sitting in front of the TV watching Disneyland. 

I fondly remember Mum's Cottage Pie made with beef mince and lashings of butter on the potato. 

We still love Cottage Pie 😍

This lemon curd slice is so light and lemony and perfect for the cooler weather of a Canberra autumn. It's on a pastry base and could easily be a dessert option with a dab of cream.
